Avoid accidental data loss
Do not factory-reset the phone or delete all messages before preserving evidence and checking account alerts. A reset rarely stops network traffic and may erase useful records.
After the burst ends
Review security notifications, update privacy settings, remove the number from unnecessary public pages, and document which protection steps worked.
